Darren Fletcher set for more hands-on role in Man Utd transfers as club decide not to replace Matt Judge

DARREN FLETCHER will take up a more prominent role at Manchester United next season, according to reports.
The former United midfielder was promoted to the role of technical director in March 2021.
But following the departure of chief transfer negotiator Matt Judge, he will now be handed more responsibilities at the club.
According to the , Fletcher will take over some of Judge's responsibilities such as arranging meetings with potential transfer targets and dealing with player agents.
This acts as part of the club's reshuffle behind the scenes.
Chief Scout Jim Lawlor and Head of Global Scouting Marcel Bout also left Old Trafford last month.

And Ralf Rangnick will take up a consultancy role when Erik ten Hag becomes manager at the end of the season.
The Red Devils are set to completely revamp the squad as well, with a number of first team players set to depart.
Paul Pogba, Nemanja Matic, Juan Mata and Edinson Cavani are all likely to leave the club this summer.
But United have shortlisted some transfer targets of their own.

This weekend SunSport revealed that Ten Hag wants to sign Southampton star James Ward-Prowse to boost the midfield.
