‘Let’s make it happen’ – Jake Paul in talks over Mike Tyson fight worth £200m and predicts 4M PPVs but slams Tommy Fury
JAKE PAUL has revealed talks to fight Mike Tyson but slammed Tommy Fury as “embarrassing”.
Heavyweight legend Tyson recently announced he would face the YouTube star, predicting record-breaking success.
And Paul wants to accelerate negotiations and admitted the 55-year-old boxing icon tops his list of potential next opponents.
He told : “Ideally, for sure, that’s legendary.
“The old generation of boxing with the new generation of boxing, all being mixed into one.
“As Mike Tyson said on the Joe Rogan podcast, it would be one of the biggest pay-per-views of all time.

“Together when we were on the same card, we sold almost two million pay-per-views.
“It could be three million pay-per-views, four million pay-per-views.
“Mike Tyson like you said on the podcast, if you’re watching this, let’s make the fight happen.
“I’m ready and I think I would win, Mike thinks he would win, so let’s do it.”

Paul’s recent PPVs have cost $50 meaning if his projections are correct, a fight with Tyson would bank $200m in box office buys alone.
But one man not in the American’s sights is Tommy Fury, 22, who pulled out of their celebrity grudge match in December.
Fury, who had suffered a broken rib, returned at Wembley on the undercard of brother Tyson’s knockout over Dillian Whyte, 34.
But Paul was left unimpressed with his rival’s dominant points win over Polish light-heavyweight Daniel Bocianski, 27.
He said: “It wasn’t much of a performance, he fought a guy that couldn’t fight. The guy looked like an idiot in there.
“He couldn’t punch, couldn’t move, could barely walk around the ring.
“I don’t think the guy landed a punch to Tommy Fury’s face, pretty embarrassing for both of them.

“It just looked like two people who didn’t know how to dance, got put in front of Wembley Stadium.
“Tommy Fury is an easy fight for me. I was hoping he was going to get a knockout to build the hype but that didn’t hype.”
