Man Utd have scouted Leeds’ Kalvin Phillips for THREE YEARS with Ten Hag to get green light for £50m summer transfer
MANCHESTER UNITED are ready to launch a bid for Kalvin Phillips after scouting the Leeds midfielder for THREE YEARS, according to reports.
Old Trafford bosses have drawn up a shortlist of wanted men with Phillips, 26, at the top.
Phillips began to shine under Marcelo Bielsa when Leeds were in the Championship.
He starred during promotion to the Premier League and earned an England call-up before Euro 2020.
And he has been admired by United assistant manager Mike Phelan since watching the midfielder dominate a Carabao Cup game against Salford City back in 2019.

The Red Devils have made the international a top target with Ralf Rangnick, who will move up into a consultancy role in June, a fan.
Rangnick is set to back the move with Erik Ten Hag, who will be wanting additions in the middle of the park.
Paul Pogba, whose contract runs out at the end of the season, looks almost certain to go.
There remain doubts about Scott McTominay and Fred, while Nemanja Matic has confirmed he will leave at the end of the season.
Team-mate Patrick Bamford admitted last year that there is one sticking point over Phillips' move to the Yorkshire team's fierce rivals.
He said: “All his family hate Manchester United".
Ten Hag has several names on his shortlist including Ajax winger Antony, who has flourished under his management in Eredivisie.
United want to secure a deal for the Brazilian this summer to avoid the risk of his value inflating after the 2022 World Cup.
Wolves midfielder Ruben Neves is also on the list with Ten Hag said to be a big fan of the Portuguese.
And transfer chief Matt Judge has reportedly made an enquire for a young Premier League striker with the club keen for a younger alternative to Cristiano Ronaldo.
