Liverpool-born Aaron Cresswell buys house in Merseyside as he plans for future with West Ham career up in the air
AARON CRESSWELL is planning for the future while he waits for a new West Ham contract from David Moyes.
Defender Cresswell, 32, has been one of the stars of the Hammers’ season.
But the Liverpool-born left-back is set to enter the final year of his London Stadium deal unless he is offered an extension beyond 2023.
And the shrewd Scouser has already bought a house in his native Merseyside ready to set up base there.
The property is scheduled for a major makeover by Cresswell — who began his playing career with Tranmere.
Cresswell is happy to stay at West Ham but knows he will be heading ‘home’ at some point and may even find a move to a local club this summer.

The left-back has been in the Hammers' books ever since 2014 when he joined up from Ipswich Town.
The former England international has proven to be an essential part of the squad ever since as he can play at left-back as well as centre-back and can cover the left flank in midfield.
The 32-year-old has amassed a total of 10 goals and 34 assists in 285 matches for the club.
Cresswell continues to be valuable under Moyes as he has registered 34 appearances across all competitions this season.
