Cristiano Ronaldo angrily hits back on social media after son was criticised for wearing both Nike and Adidas
CRISTIANO RONALDO has slammed social media trolls for criticising his son for wearing both Nike and Adidas.
Cristiano Jr was targeted by the Instagram community after Ronaldo's mum Maria Dolores shared a photo with his grandson wearing both brands together.
The picture received over 110,000 likes, but it also attracted its critics who slammed Cristiano Jr.
Ronaldo, 37, has a lifetime sponsorship deal with Nike, and many commented about Cristiano Jr mixing the brands by wearing a Nike hoodie with Adidas socks and Yeezy sliders.
But the Red Devils forward leapt to the defence of his son with his own comment on the snap to silence the critics.
He wrote: "He wears what he wants. Not what you want."

Ronaldo has had a long-standing relationship with Nike, after first signing up with the sports brand in 2003 when he was starring at Old Trafford first time around.
Back in 2016, he signed a huge deal with Nike and is said to earn around £150million-per-year.
He is also quick to share any Nike-related promos on his own Instagram, which is followed by 424 million people.
Because of that deal, Ronaldo can only wear sportswear and boots made by Nike.
However, that clashes with his club's deal with Adidas.
