DARREN BENT has revealed a hilarious incident that led to former Ipswich Town team-mate Titus Bramble frustrating Brazilian legend Ronaldo.
The Tractor Boys, now in League One, qualified for the Uefa Cup and enjoyed a run to the last-32 of the competition during the 2001/02 campaign.
That was until they drew the mighty Serie A giants Inter Milan.
Alun Armstrong scored a late goal at Portman Road to secure a memorable 1-0 win for Ipswich in the first leg.
However, their Euro dream was over a fortnight later as a Christian Vieri scored a hat-trick to claim a 4-1 win.
Bent, who missed the game, recalled a funny moment from that match regarding the lengths Bramble, a former defender, went to in order to try and get his hands on Ronaldo’s shirt at full-time.

The Samba star had just returned from injury and came off the bench for the final 11 minutes.
And Bent says that he was literally man-marked and harassed for the remainder of the contest by his pal Bramble.
He told : “We played Inter Milan in the Uefa Cup at the San Siro and it was the first game back for the Brazilian Ronaldo, R9.
“Titus Bramble, for the last ten minutes, paid no attention to the game. All he kept saying to him ‘shirt?’”

“He’s like ‘yes, yes, yes!’ He’s probably getting frustrated by the amount of times he’s asking.
“Final whistle goes and Ronaldo trots down the tunnel. Titus doesn’t even bother with the Ipswich fans that have travelled over there, he just shoots straight down the tunnel to get Ronaldo’s shirt.
“That must be worth an absolute fortune. Over a million pound. Why would it not?”
