Arsenal dealt cruel blow in Champions League chase with Kieran Tierney out for the SEASON with left-back needing surgery
ARSENAL star Kieran Tierney is set to miss the remainder of the season, according to reports.
The left-back missed the 3-0 defeat to Crystal Palace due to a knee injury.
And now the left-back needs surgery which will keep him out of action until the summer, according to .
Tierney could even miss Scotland's crucial World Cup play-off against Ukraine in June.
The Scot completed both matches for his country over the recent international break but returned to Arsenal with the knee problem.
Mikel Arteta said his situation did not look good after he sat out the game at Selhurst Park.

Tierney will undergo an operation later this week with Nuno Tavares likely to deputise against Brighton at the weekend despite lasting just 45 minutes at Palace.
Naturally, a number of Gooners have not reacted well to the news, with Tierney also a key leader in the squad and a potential future captain.
One Arsenal fan wrote: "I hate international break so much. This thing always comes to destroy players."
