Paul, 27, made a better than expected debut at the Showcase of the Immortals, but it was his rare Pikachu Pokemon card that stole the headlines.

The YouTuber rocked a 1998 Japanese Pikachu Illustrator card - which has been graded “Gem Mint 10” by PSA - on an expensive-looking chain.

And it's emerged the vintage Pikachu card - the most expensive in Pokemon history - is worth close to £4million.

According to the Guinness Book of World Records, Paul bagged the rare Pikachu in a trade that valued the card at £4,025,088.

He is said to have parted with a PSA 9 version of the card along with £3,051,820.00 to get his hands on the sole PSA 10 Pikachu Illustrator.

And Paul last year to get his hands on the card - after five months of negotiation.

The card is only one of 39 in existence and is held in an $80k custom diamond pendant with a Pokéball bail.

Paul put on a solid display in his tag-team match with The Miz, whom he took on Rey and Dominik Mysterio with.

But he was betrayed moments after their victory over the Mysterios, getting a taste of the Miz's Skull Crushing Finale.

An elated Paul said of this WWE debut: “This is surreal. I cannot believe I got to share the ring with the Mysterios and also won the match.

“You know this is my first win. I can no longer say I’m the world’s highest-paid loser, that was my thing."

When pressed on the Miz's betrayal, saying: “I think it’s equivalent to Will Smith slapping Chris Rock.

“I’m still processing why The Miz betrayed me. To be honest with you, if I had to guess, he’s probably jealous.

"I was doing flips, I went off the top rope, I was doing cool s***.

“Put quite simply, he’s not capable of doing that s***.

"He’s older, he’s a little thicker. I’m young, I’m spry.

"He just doesn’t have it like me and I think he got jealous and decided to turn on me."
