CONOR MCGREGOR has had his boxing technique ruthlessly critiqued by fight fans as he gears up for a return to the octagon.
The Irishman is in the final stages of recovering from the horrific broken leg he suffered in his trilogy fight with Dustin Poirier last July.
McGregor, 33, was recently cleared to resume boxing pad work and has been sharing clips of himself dusting off the cobwebs on social media.
But some of his legion of followers haven't been impressed, with one saying: "All I see is stiffness. A Stick in the mud."
Another said: "Bro I can’t lie this looks horrible. Terrible technique."
And another said: "I see stiffness."

Another asked: "Head movement?"
McGregor's accompanying caption for his latest training clip included a warning to the UFC's lightweights and welterweights.
He wrote: "I’m gonna crush a head with these. Add it to the list of heads."

Former two-division champion McGregor revealed earlier this year that he's targeting a summer return to the cage.
But UFC president Dana White recently revealed to SunSport that the promotion is expecting the pride of Dublin to be back in action in the autumn.
The MMA mogul said: "We're looking at early fall, if everything goes right."

An autumn return for Mystic Mac is contingent on doctors giving him the all-clear to resume full mixed martial arts training in the coming months.
White added: "If his leg heals right and he gets the clearance to really start training, then possibly early fall."
