EDINSON CAVANI is set to spend more time on the sidelines after picking up a calf injury whilst representing Uruguay on Tuesday.
The striker was on the pitch for just 25 minutes before he felt a twinge in his right calf.
He immediately sat down and gestured towards the bench, asking to be substituted.
Cavani was replaced by Luis Suarez, who went on to score in the late stages of the game.
Goals from Suarez and Federico Valverde saw Uruguay defeat Chile in a 2-0 victory.
The Sky Blues also secured World Cup qualification on the night, whilst Chile failed to book their spot in this year's competition in Qatar.

Whilst's Cavani's injury is a concern for both Uruguay and Manchester United, the severity of issue has not been officially confirmed.
have suggested that the 35-year-old suffered a muscular ailment.
This means that he is expected miss at least one game for the Red Devils.

Cavani has been plagued with injury issues this season, which have severely limited his time on the pitch.
He has dealt with various knocks, tendon irritation and a groin strain since the start of the campaign, and as a result he has made just 17 appearances for Man Utd.
