‘I got s*** to do’ – Nate Diaz publicly asks Dana White for UFC release as he demands next fight ‘ASAP’
NATE DIAZ publicly asked Dana White to be released from the UFC and demanded his next fight as soon as possible.
The UFC icon has just one bout left on his current deal and had been in talks to face Dustin Poirier.
But negotiations appear to have stalled as Diaz vented his anger towards White and UFC Chief Business Officer Hunter Campbell.
He tweeted: "I Would like to request to be released from the @ufc @danawhite @hunter.
"I apologize for asking online but u don’t give me a fight asap I got s*** to do."
Diaz, 36, previously claimed he will retire from MMA after his next fight, amid rumours of a switch to boxing.

But UFC president White recently revealed his confidence in the American signing a contract extension.
He said the likelihood of Diaz getting a new contract is "very good".
Conor McGregor, who has a win and a loss to the welterweight contender, has also teased a trilogy decider online.
And White was also quick not to rule out the fierce rivals finally renewing their rivalry to settle the score.
He told TMZ: "I wouldn’t count out a Conor-Nate 3. Listen, I’d be shocked if that fight didn’t happen."
