F1 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix LIVE RESULT: Verstappen WINS after epic Leclerc battle as Hamilton down in 10th – reaction
MAX VERSTAPPEN has beaten Charles Leclerc in a thrilling battle for victory at the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix.
World champion Verstappen attempted to overtake Ferrari driver Leclerc twice but he locked up on the second attempt.
Then it was third time lucky as Verstappen used DRS to overtake his rival.
Lewis Hamilton is half way down the field after a superb surge up the field to sixth, before pitting.
- Result: 1. Max Verstappen (Red Bull), 2. Charles Leclerc (Ferrari), Carlos Sainz (Ferrari).
- Lewis Hamilton finishes 10th.
- Mick Schumacher pulls out of racing after his horror crash during qualifying.

Lap 44 - Hamilton still fighting
While the front two tussle, Lewis Hamilton is desperately trying to get into the points.
The Brit has passed Alex Albon into 11th, but remains half a second behind Lance Stroll.
Lap 43 - front two lock up
Verstappen and Leclerc lock up... but the latter stays ahead!
The Dutchman is fuming! He believes that Leclerc has crossed the pit lane again.
Lap 42 - Verstappen overtakes Leclerc
Verstappen passes Charles Leclerc! But the Ferrari instantly passes Max with the DRS.
It's like last week all over again!
Lap 42 - Verstappen chasing lead
Max Verstappen is really putting the pressure on Charles Leclerc.
The Dutchman is around 0.6 seconds behind his Ferrari rival.
Lap 41 - Hamilton pits
Lewis Hamilton is finally able to pit.
He returns in 12th, behind Kevin Magnussen, Alex Albon and Lance Stroll.
Lap 41 - virtual safety car ending
And that's the virtual safety car over - that's a blow for Lewis Hamilton.
The Brit is the only driver that has not yet pitted.
Lap 39 - virtual safety car
We now have a virtual safety car, Hamilton has asked his team if they are "doing okay" with their strategy.
Mercedes are waiting to see how this plays out before giving an answer.
The pit lane entry remains closed.
Bottas, Alonso and Ricciardo have joined Latifi and Tsunoda in being OUT of this race.
Lap 39 - Hamilton frustrated
Lewis Hamilton wanted to get into the pits, but the lane was closed just a few hundred metres before he could get there!
That was a brilliant move by Magnussen in the Haas.
Lap 39 - Ricciardo finished
Daniel Ricciardo's McLaren is now being pushed off the track by marshals... but still no safety car.
Lap 38 - Hulkenberg pits
Nico Hulkenberg has pitted... but did he get in before the pit lane had been closed?
Lap 38 - yellow flag
The yellow flag is being raised and Kevin Magnussen is entering the pit lane.
Lap 37 - Ricciardo trouble
Following Alonso's issue, Daniel Ricciardo has now trundled to a stop.
The Aussie said over the radio: "I've got no drive."
Meanwhile, Bottas is being retired from the race too!
Lap 36 - Alonso struggling
Fernando Alonso's Alpine appears to be struggling, and team principal Otmar Szafnauer has his head in his hands.
The Spaniard is now in last place and is heading to the pits.
Lap 36 - Max fastest lap
Max Verstappen has set another fastest lap time at 1:32.474.
Bottas, meanwhile, has entered the pits for a second time.
Lap 35 - Alonso passes K-Mag
Fernando Alonso has moved ahead of Kevin Magnussen into seventh.
K-Mag is still running on old tyres, having not pitted yet.
Lap 34 - Hamilton making moves
Having started in 15th, Lewis Hamilton finds himself sixth.
The Brit is yet to pit, however, with Mercedes deploying interesting tactics.
Lap 33 - Verstappen staying patient
Max Verstappen has been told to be patient in pursuing leader Charles Leclerc.
His team have told him on the radio to let Leclerc wear out his tyres before making his move.
Lap 32 - Bottas eyes eighth
Valtteri Bottas is eyeing up a move past Fernando Alonso into eighth, but the wily Spaniard is holding on.
Lap 30 - Leclerc leads
The safety car really benefitted Ferrari's Charles Leclerc.

Lap 29 - Gasly passes Hulkenberg
Pierre Gasly becomes the latest driver to pass Nico Hulkenberg.
He'll now hope to have a crack at the McLaren duo.
Lap 28 - Norris passes Hulkenberg
Lando Norris is up to 12th, after passing Nico Hulkenberg.
He is now just one place behind team-mate Daniel Ricciardo, with the Aussie having pitted during lap eight.
Lap 28 - Max surges
We have a new fastest lap, and this time it's Max Verstappen.
The Red Bull sets a time of 1:33.059.
Lap 27 - Zhou penalty
Zhou Guanyu has now been penalised for not fully serving his five-second penalty.
Lap 26 - Verstappen unhappy
Max Verstappen believes that Charles Leclerc should be penalised for crossing the white line by the pits without actually pitting.
Meanwhile, Zhou Guanyu is being investigated for potentially not fully serving his previous five-second penalty.
Lap 25 - Hamilton into sixth
This time Lewis isn't denied!
The seven-time world champion passes Kevin Magnussen and is up to sixth.
