Man City’s FA Cup semi-final against Liverpool CONFIRMED for Wembley with fans to be given free buses amid travel chaos
THE FA Cup semi-final between Liverpool and Manchester City has been CONFIRMED to go ahead at Wembley despite fan outrage amid travel chaos.
Engineering works means there will be no trains from Liverpool or Manchester into London Euston on the weekend of April 16/17.

Fearing they had no way of watching the crunch clash - with Liverpool chasing a famous Quadruple and City steal dreaming of a Treble - fans of both clubs had urged the FA to move the fixture to Old Trafford.
But the FA have confirmed the match WILL go ahead at Wembley - as well as the Women's FA Cup clash involving Man City.
In a desperate bid to get fans to the ground, they have also revealed they have chartered 100 buses to take roughly 5,000 fans from the north-west to London.
An FA statement read: "The FA recognises the significant challenges that are being faced by some Liverpool and Manchester City supporters with train services being severely limited.

"The FA is pleased to announce that a limited number of free return bus services will be provided for both the Emirates FA Cup and Vitality Women’s FA Cup semi-finals involving Liverpool and Manchester City.
"The FA will charter 100 buses from Anfield and the Etihad Stadium respectively to Wembley Stadium and back.
"This will ensure that up to 5,000 Liverpool and Manchester City supporters will be able to travel to Wembley Stadium free of charge for their semi-final tie."
For those looking to drive themselves, the FA continued: "Limited pre-booked car parking is available at Wembley Stadium."

Man City vs Liverpool will kick off at 3.30pm on Saturday April 15, with the game to be shown live on the BBC.
The game will not break 3pm blackout laws, with those only applying to league fixtures, with the start time to accommodate other fixtures at the stadium and the return bus service.
Meanwhile, the other semi - Crystal Palace vs Chelsea - will be shown on ITV, with kick off 4.30pm on Sunday April 16.
The Women's FA Cup semi between West Ham and Man City will also be live on TV - with the BBC showing it at 12.15pm on Saturday April 15.
The BBC will show the other women's semi on Sunday at 12.30pm - as Arsenal face Chelsea.
