Paul Pogba open to PSG transfer as £89m France star enters final months of contract and says Man Utd’s season is ‘dead’

PAUL POGBA responded "Why not?" when asked about a possible move to Paris Saint-Germain.

The France World Cup winner, 29, is out of contract with Manchester United at the end of the season.

He's yet to agree to an extension at Old Trafford, fuelling speculation that he could leave in the summer.

In an interview with French outlet , Pogba opened up on recent rumours linking him with a move to PSG.

When questioned on the possibility of signing for the French giants, Pogba revealed: "Why not? It’s always nice to play with your teammates in the national team and club."

Elsewhere Pogba has been linked to Barcelona with the Spaniards back in the money following their mega £237million sponsorship deal with music streaming site Spotify.

The midfielder, who cost the Red Devils £89m in 2016, also stated his desire to "win trophies".

United haven't won a trophy since the Europa League triumph way back in 2017, something Pogba admitted he was "not satisfied" with.

He added: "We have to be honest, I am not satisfied over the last 5 years, but not at all. This year, it’s dead, we will win nothing again.

"Whether it is with Manchester or in another club, I want to win trophies."

Pogba went on to reveal he has battled with depression at stages of his career, and had his World Cup winners medal was stolen when his house was burgled recently.

He said: "I've had depression in my career, but we don't talk about it.

"Sometimes you don't know you are, you just want to isolate yourself, be alone, these are unmistakable signs."

On his house being burgled, he added: "I am OK, my family too.

"I had quite a surprising week, with the Champions League match where I learned that I am not going to play and, when I went home, I discovered that my home was robbed following the entry of three people who stole my safe.

"There was my mother’s jewellery in there, my World Cup medal…

"What scared me the most, is that my two children were at home with the nanny during the incident.

"She heard everything, called my wife and security, then locked herself with the boys (aged 1 and 2) in a room.

"For several days after, she was in shock. The most important thing is that my children are doing fine."
