The midfielder has crossed paths with some of the absolute best in Serie A, Premier League and Champions League as well as the World Cup and Euros with France.

The 29-year-old has had some intense battles with the likes of Chelsea ace N'Golo Kante, Manchester City star Kevin De Bruyne and Barcelona legend Andres Iniesta in the middle of the pitch.

But he shockingly suggested none of them gave him a fiercer battle than former Liverpool player Can.

Pogba told Football Joe when asked who has been his toughest ever opponent: "Emre Can.

Can joined the Reds in 2014 from Bayer Leverkusen and spent four years at Anfield before his departure for Juve.

The midfielder amassed a total of 14 goals and 12 assists in 167 appearances.

Pogba faced him on five separate occasions and never lost against the Germany international.
