But it appears their near five-year feud could have another chapter after Bjornsson - nicknamed Thor - agreed to a sequel.

He said: "Understandably he seemed a bit angry still. He lost the fight so it's understandable as well.

"But I'm happy, if he wants the rematch I'll take a rematch no problem. Would you guys like to see a rematch?"

It is believed a rematch clause has been included, for what was dubbed the heaviest boxing match in history.

Disaster almost struck in round two for Bjornsson after a right hook sent him into the ropes and facing a standing eight count.

But he turned the tide with a massive left hand that sent Hall crashing to the canvas.

It was still all to play for in the sixth and final round, but another thudding hook again put down Hall, along with his chances of winning.

Game of Thrones star Thor earned the verdict by unanimous decision, with all three judges scoring it 57-54.

He said: "I'd also like to thank Eddie Hall and his team for putting up a hell of a show, he gave me a hell of a battle.

"I've never been dropped in training, so hats off to him. He really can punch. He wasn't lying! But today, I feel technique won."
