  • Are Rangers final-bound?

As routes to the final of a major European competition go, Rangers have done pretty well today, avoiding Barcelona and West Ham until the finale.

They will stand a good chance of beating Sporting Braga over two legs as they have been in very good form, but may struggle against semi final opposition should they make it there.

It will be Atalanta or RB Leipzig in the semis, both of whom are teams with experience in the Champions League in recent years, and have a host of top European players...

  • West Ham vs Barca Semi-Final.

We could be looking forward to a West Ham vs Barcelona Semi-Final in this years rendition of the Europa League.

That is if The Irons can get past Olympique Lyonnais, who will prove to be tough opposition for the Premier League side.

Barcelona will cruise past Eintracht Frankfurt on paper, but did struggle against Galatasaray, and are not the side that they once were with Lionel Messi and co.

This would be a cracking tie if both teams can get through, and it is the one that all the neutrals want to see.

Just imagine if Moyes' boys upset the Catalan giants? Scenes.

The last tie is Braga vs Rangers, if Morelos and Tavernier are on form this could be a very tasty tie that the Scots will be hoping to win.

  • West Ham vs Olympique Lyonnnais

West Ham will feel confident in taking the win here, but will have to stop top scorer Karl Toko-Ekambi to do so.

  • Eintracht Frankfurt vs FC Barcelona

Barca will be favourites here, despite struggling against Turkish opposition last time out. No Barca vs West Ham just yet.

  • RB Leipzig vs Atalanta

The Lyon hitman was also the second highest scorer at this years AFCON, so he is definitely a man with his shooting boots on in 2022.

  • Good news for Chelsea

Chelsea's tie with Atletico Madrid will be reversed, as Atletico and Real Madrid cannot both play at home in the first tie.

This means that the game will be played in The Bernabeu for the first leg, with the second leg being played at Stamford Bridge.

This is great news for fans of The Blues, as it means they are more likely to have fans in attendance after new ownership has been decided.

Another good bit of news for Chelsea fans is that Los Blancos have NEVER beaten Chelsea in an official game in their history...
