UFC London duo Paddy Pimblett and Ilia Topuria almost came to blows at the fighter hotel on Tuesday.

The lightweight prospects became embroiled in a Twitter feud last April after Pimblett said: "Lad how stupid are these Georgians man ... no wonder the Russians terrorise their lives."

And things quickly came to a head when they caught sight of each other at the Canary Wharf Hilton hotel on Tuesday afternoon.

Footage captured by Topuria's team showed the proud Georgian confronting Liverpool's latest MMA prospect.

And new fan favourite Pimblett ended up throwing a water bottle before El Matador swung for him.

The table separating the pair went flying, as did some plates and cutlery.

Seconds later, Pimblett asked the lightweight newcomer: "Lad, do you think I'm scared of you?"

The pair's respective teams quickly got a handle on things before a full-on brawl ensued - although the UFC's ever-diligent security was also on top of things.

After being wrestled back from the melee and escorted away, a fired-up Topuria repeatedly shouted: "F*** you, b****."

An enraged Pimblett roared: "What, lad? Come here! Come here, you little maggot."

Thankfully, neither man - nor any of the UFC staff or security members in the vicinity - were injured.

But their altercation has paved the way for a mouth-watering future clash of lightweight prospects.

Topuria's accompanying caption for the clip - which has gone viral in the MMA world - read: "I warned you!

"This is what happens when you disrespect me and my country!

"You saw me and wanted to greet me because you s*** your pants… and you should thank my team because if it wasn’t for them separating me, I would have taken your head off.

"This is not Twitter, this is real life!"

Topuria will be in action on the prelim portion of UFC London's stacked card, locking horns with Black Country Banger Jai Herbert.

Pimblett, meanwhile, will face Mexican Kazula Vargas on the main card - which will be headlined by a heavyweight showdown between Wigan's very own Tom Aspinall and Alexander Volkov.
