ASTON VILLA have been quoted a £21million price tag to sign Paris Saint-Germain ace Georginio Wijnaldum, reports suggest.
That is according to , who claim that Villa are keeping tabs on Wijnaldum ahead of the summer transfer window.
The midfielder joined PSG only last summer after letting his Liverpool contract run down but said in October he was "not completely happy" with the opportunities he found in France.
The Netherlands international signed a deal with the Ligue 1 giants until 2024 but the Parisians are willing to let him go for £21m.
Villa manager Steven Gerrard is keen to add the 31-year-old, who joined the Reds just a year after the former left for LA Galaxy.
Gerrard has already landed a former Anfield star in Philippe Coutinho, with whom he played at Liverpool.
Coutinho joined the Villans on loan from Barcelona, where he had endured a frustrating four-year stint.
The attacking midfielder has been rediscovering his Premier League prowess under his former team-mate with three goals and three assists in seven Prem matches.
