LIVERPOOL legend Robbie Fowler has reportedly applied for the vacant manager's job at Bradford City.
The League Two side sacked Derek Adams after a miserable season with just nine wins in 32 games.
Now, according to the , Fowler, 46, has thrown his hat into the ring.
The former England striker is currently managing East Bengal in India, after previous spells in Thailand and Australia.
It would be his first management job in England.
He has previously applied for the manager's job at his old club Leeds, and was linked with the Swindon post at the start of the season.
The 45-year-old, known as ‘God’ to many Kopites, has been in charge of Indian Super League strugglers East Bengal since October.
But the former England striker landed in hot water for his outburst after the Kolkata side's 1-1 draw with FC Goa recently.

Fowler reportedly said he was ‘not sure whether the referees have an anti-English thing or anti-East Bengal thing’ following the game.
The country's FA, the All India Football Federation, has now fined him 500,000 rupees and suspended him from the dug-out for the next four ISL fixtures.
Bradford, meanwhile, were one of the favourites for promotion to League One at the start of the season.
It was seen as a huge coup in landing Adams, who was promoted the previous season with Morecambe, only to leave the Shrimpers and drop back into League Two.
CARBONE ALSO IN FRAME
But Bantams fans never took to the straight-talking Scot, and the Yorkshire side cut short his three-year contract, languishing in mid-table.
Mark Trueman is in temporary charge, with the likes of former Gillingham and Leeds boss Steve Evans and former Hull gaffer Grant McCann the other frontrunners for the job.
Another Premier League legend like Fowler in the shape of Benito Carbone has also reportedly applied for the job.
He raised eyebrows when he joined the Bantams on a free transfer back in 2000 on a then whopping £40,000-a-week deal.
But financial struggles soon hit Bradford and he was loaned out to both Derby and Middlesbrough.
Despite his big pay packet, his memorable goals made him a big hit with the Valley Parade faithful.
