‘We’d make a fortune’ – Martyn Ford wants to fight The Rock after Iranian Hulk battle as he targets WWE legend
MARTYN FORD is targeting a stunning boxing fight against WWE legend Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson after his upcoming bout with the ‘Iranian Hulk’.
Dubbed the ‘World’s Scariest Man’, Ford is ready to make a statement by beating Sajad Gharibi in April 2's highly-anticipated bout at The O2 Arena.
Speaking to , Ford, 39, is adamant he will come through his bout against Gharibi, 29, with ease.
Standing at 6ft 9in and weighing 287lbs, there aren’t many who’d enter the ring with Ford.
But his opponent, who is 6ft 2in tall, tips the scales at a whopping 390lbs.
And boxing fans are set for a super-heavyweight encounter that could put next month’s clash between Eddie Hall and Hafthor Bjornsson to shame.
Indeed, ‘The Nightmare’ is already eyeing up new opponents, and has his sights set on a money-spinning clash against Hollywood superstar and WWE icon The Rock.
“I’d love to challenge The Rock to a fight. We’d make a fortune.

“It would be a phenomenal fight because he’s a great athlete. He’s very mobile, strong and comes from a wrestling background.”
Ford continued: “[Gharibi] is in for an absolute world of s***. I would not want to be him.
“Genuinely, hand on heart, I don’t think he understands what’s going to happen when he steps into that room.
“It’s genuinely a serious concern of mine that he’s going to get seriously hurt.”
