ARSENAL have been proven right in their decision to let Emiliano Martinez go and bring in Aaron Ramsdale.
Martinez left the Gunners in the summer of 2020 after being told that Bernd Leno would be No1 at the Emirates.
The goalkeeper joined Aston Villa for £20million and 12 months later the north Londoners splashed £30m on Ramsdale following some stunning performances with Sheffield United.
Arsenal received a fair amount of criticism for spending all that money on the 23-year-old shot-stopper having had highly capable Martinez on their books.
However, the England international has quickly established himself as the team's No1 after outshining Leno between the posts.
The stats also show that Ramsdale is proving to be a shrewd investment.
The Arsenal star has prevented the highest amount of goals in the Premier League.
Ramsdale has denied 1.41 goals, which is the number a goalie is expected to concede as a proportion of a number of goals he actually lets in.
