Former boxing champion Ricky Hatton accused of ‘flooring’ a second Brit in Tenerife bar row at karaoke

EX-BOXER Ricky Hatton has been accused of flooring a second Brit two days after allegedly beating a man to a pulp.

Both alleged attacks happened while the former world champion was in the same Irish bar in Tenerife.

Yesterday The Sun reported how Hatton, 37, is being probed by Spanish cops after sandwich shop owner Stephen O’Hagan, 47, was left with a broken jaw, eye socket, nose and wrist, and several lost teeth.

Now it has emerged that Hatton, known as The Hitman in the ring, is said to have erupted with fury when Brit Daniel Culloty mocked his karaoke singing.

The retired boxer is accused of pushing him to the ground.

Daniel, 47, of Birmingham, said: “I was at the bar at around 1am and Hatton was there. He looked a f***ing mess. He was my idol, I’m a huge boxing fan.

“He was on the karaoke singing a love song like a typical drunken person and he sounded absolutely terrible. I said, ‘you’re better than that and need to stick to the boxing’ and he became so aggressive and pushed me to the ground.”

Daniel said: “I just picked myself up and dusted myself off, didn’t cause any more trouble.

“He was pumped up for a fight that’s for sure. He gets so drunk he can barely stand. His eyes were all over the place.

“Just because he’s famous he thinks he can be an utter d***. If I’d put my hands on him I’d be dead.”
