Get all the live action from a packed card at London's O2 Arena as Kell Brook gets set for the biggest fight of his life
KELL BROOK saw his dreams of dethroning middleweight king Gennady Golovkin dashed after his corner threw in the towel in the fifth round.
The two fighters had London's O2 Arena on their feet for most of the fight, as both traded blows and stood toe-to-toe. However an eye injury seemingly picked up by Brook in the third round saw his corner decide to pull out their man - and end his hopes of halting the Kazakh warrior.
- A packed card at the O2 Arena also saw Lee Haskins triumph once again against Stuart Hall, but there was a harsh boxing lesson for Charlie Edwards as he lost in his world title fight against John Riel Casimero.
- Conor Benn, son of legendary British middleweight boxer Nigel secured his fourth victory since turning professional in convincing fashion.
- And Liverpool's Callum Smith continued his march to a world title with a seventh round stoppage of Norbert Nemesapati.

23.16 Disappointing night for Kell Brook as his corner threw in the towel during the fifth round. Brook spoke ringside after and said he was "seeing five Golovkins" due to sustaining an injury to his right eye. Brendan Ingle decided it was too much of a risk, and pulled his man out. Golovkin reigns supreme... Can anyone beat the Kazakh warrior?
23.16 IT'S ALL OVER. BROOK'S CORNER THROW IN THE TOWEL!
23.16 Carl Froch describes Brook's performance as "phenomental" so far. Both fighters are standing toe-to-toe, but Brooks still seems bothered by the right eye...
23.16 Kell pointing at his eye as though he was butted by Golovkin... needs to regain his focus immediately.
23.13 Brook is showing his power early on, some thundering hooks, and the uppercut looks in fine form. The crowd are loving it, he wins that second there.
23.11 Crippling right body shot followed be head shot hurt Kell, there's was no doubt, and the crowd were worried. But fighting fire with fire, Brook thundered an uppercut through that pushed Golovkin back. WHAT. A. START.
23.10 BROOK ROCKED EARLY ON!
23.09 So this is it! The fighters go back to their corners as the crowd go wild at the London O2 Arena!
22.56 Kell Brook looked in confident mood as he made his way to the ring... now it's the turn of "GGG" and he seems to have a fair few fans of his own inside London's O2 Arena. The Kazakh's behaviour has been exemplary since he arrived in the UK.
22.48 Putting behind the disappointment of losing the Manchester derby, Zlatan Ibrahimovic is in the crowd to watch Brook v Golovkin.
22.41 For the record, all judges gave it to Haskins, 115-113 117-111 116-112. Think that's pretty harsh on Hall to be fair.
22.39 And Haskins praises the efforts of his opponent: "I thought I was winning the fight clearly with my shots. You try boxing this guy. He just keeps coming forward and there's no coming back.
"Take it from me - he hits very hard and I'm not stupid enough to stand there and show I'm the toughest man in Britain.
"I'm here to win the fight and get paid."
22.38 Speaking to Sky Sports ringside Stuart Hall says: "I thought it edged it but I probably started a bit late. It was close. The judges never had it close but I started a bit too late. It was silly and it's a bad night.
"I should have started. I thought I did enough to maybe nick it at the end but in the first few rounds, I didn't do enough."
22.36 Crowd inside the O2 are not happy with that decision - they clearly think Stuart Hall was the deserving winner
22.34 LEE HASKINS WINS ON POINTS
22.28 It looked like it was going to be plain sailing for Haskins up to that eighth. Then it's almost as if a switch was pressed on Hall, and he decided to become the aggressor. Strange, as that is usually his style. He is bossing these later rounds now. Eleventh in the bag - wins the next and we have a close one!
22.13 Finally in the eighth the fight bursts to life (a little), Stuart Hall lands some heavy shots to face and body, and blood appears on Haskins' face. Definitely his in the bag. Eddie Hearn liked that one for sure.
21.59 Nothing between these two here. Stuart Hall is pretty tense in there, while Haskins appears to be enjoying it more in there. Hall needs to forget about any hatred and concentrate on how to WIN the fight for me.
21.50 Such a contrast in styles between fighters often go one of two ways. A major humdinger or a slugfest with more holding than hitting. Just saying.
21.47 Relatively tentative start by both men in here, with both saying they are confident of an early KO, it's one not to take your eyes off. Hall looking for revenge for a 2012 points defeat to Haskins.
Boxing legends!
21.40 Can this fight live up to its billing? Stuart Hall and Lee Haskins are now in the ringing, so much bad blood between the two, it's bound to be a tear up right?
21.10 Smith admits he "needs a challenge" and that he's "good enough" for a world title shot. With elite boxing officials in attendance, let's hope this happens sooner rather than later as tonight was the proverbial "walk in the park."
21.05 AND IT'S ALL OVER! Smith floored Norbert Nemesapati at the end of round six, and the Hungarian was only saved by the bell. But his corner realised their man was hurt, and threw in the towel.
21.00 Not sure the Sky Sports commentators saying Callum Smith is "still in first gear, not even out of second gear" will go down too well to fans who have paid for tickets and Box Office viewing...
20.55 So, another round in the bag for Smith. Few results to round up from earlier. Conor Benn, son of British boxing legend Nigel, secured a second-round KO win against Joe Ducker, Paul Smith floored Daniel Regi SIX TIMES on the way to a fifth-round stoppage, and Martin J Ward stopped Andy Townend in the eighth in a one-sided victory.
20.50 Some boxing fans would love to see Callum step in his next fight - could George Groves be a possible opponent? What's for certain is that tickets would fly. Another round in the bag for the Liverpool man, onto the fourth...
20.30 He is talked about to go all the way for a world title, and Callum Smith is showing the skills in there to make it believable. Big, strong, with speed to add. But there's the argument that this fight against Norbert Nemesapati is simply a chance to showcase his skills...
20.20 KNOCKDOWN AND IT'S ALL OVER! Edwards is floored by Casimero with a fierce left hook. He bravely gets to his feet, but is clearly out of it, and the referee soon steps in to end the fight.
20.15 Edwards has a mountain to climb it seems, but is receiving good support on social media, with his heart and guts being commended. But usually that isn't enough to sway judges in a world title fight. He lands with a good right early in the 10th, and looks like he knows he has to step it up.
20.10 Charlie Edwards is currently in action in his world title shot against John Riel Casimero, and he's struggling in there against a much-more experienced opponent. It's round eight and Edwards is finding it tough at world championship level...
20.00 And we are here counting down the minutes to Kell Brook's mouthwatering clash against middleweight king Gennady Golovkin.
