GEORGINA RODRIGUEZ says she and Cristiano Ronaldo keep their children entertained the ‘old fashioned’ way with crayons and play kitchens instead of iPads and laptops.

The star of new Netflix show ‘I Am Georgina’ revealed they are trying to avoid letting technology enter the lives of the expanding family they are raising together.

Dad-of-four Cristiano, who celebrated turning 37 yesterday, revealed last month during a break from his busy football calendar in Morocco that he is still making eldest son Cristianinho wait for his first mobile phone.

And his partner of nearly six years, who has a four-year-old daughter called Alana with the Manchester United striker and is due to give birth in April to twins, confirmed they attempt to keep modern gadgets away from their kids.

Georgina also raises Cristiano’s four-year-old twins Eva and Mateo and describes in the new Netflix docu-series about her rags-to-riches life how they also call her mum.

The 28-year-old model and influencer, who has gained nearly four million followers since the show’s premiere, told an interviewer: “The truth is that at home we’re not the typical parents that give the children iPads, mobiles or computers to entertain them.

"It’s the opposite. It’s always pen and paper, beads, play kitchens. We paint and dance a lot.

“I’m terrible anyway when it comes to technology. It’s not something I’m very good at. I haven’t got the patience or the time for it.”

Revealing her secret for calming the kids down whenever they get really excitable, she added: “When the children are very restless and won’t stop, I put on Angel Corella’s Swan Lake.”

Five-time Ballon d’Or winner Cristiano told fans late last month during an interview on a stage at Al Wazl Plaza in Dubai: “My eldest child is going to be 12 soon and he asks me every time, ‘Daddy, can I have a phone, can I have a phone, can I have a phone.’

"I say to him, ‘Cristiano, you have time.’

“I know as well that this young generation are one step ahead of their age so I agree that we have to take advantage of that but not to be obsessed about technology.

“Give them but with a period of time, not give them all the time. I think that’s the main point here.”

Although Georgina confessed she struggles with technology, she doesn’t seem to be doing a bad job when it comes to increasing her Instagram fan count.

She now boasts 33.2 million followers, nearly four million more than just over a week ago when ‘I Am Georgina’ started streaming in 190 countries around the world on Netflix.

She talks in the docu-series about going from a £10-an-hour shop worker when she met and started dating Cristiano in the summer of 2016 to a successful influencer.

She now turns heads at events like the Venice Film Festival dripping in expensive diamonds and flies around Europe on the footballer’s £20 million private plane.

Cristiano admits in the six-partner he is ‘1000 per cent sure’ he will marry Georgina.

The Argentinian-born beauty, who grew up in the Spanish Pyrenees city of Jaca, also reveals the couple are planning to live in Portugal after the Man United star retires.
