How Everton could line up under Frank Lampard after Chelsea legend brought in Dele Alli and Donny van de Beek
FRANK LAMPARD was unveiled as Everton’s new manager following the sacking of Rafa Benitez.
And the Chelsea legend wasted no time in the transfer market at Goodison Park.
Manchester United flop Donny van de Beek joined on loan until the end of the season after snubbing a similar offer from Crystal Palace.
Dele Alli also joined from Tottenham in a deal that could rise to £40million.
The 25-year-old had fallen out of favour at Spurs but Lampard hopes to give him a chance to reboot his career on Merseyside.
Chelsea star Ruben Loftus-Cheek had also been linked with a move to the Toffees as ex-boss Lampard plotted a raid on his old employers.
Ukraine left-back Vitaliy Mykolenko also joined on New Year's Day in a four-and-a-half-year deal from Dynamo Kiev.
The club will also be hoping to cling on to England striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin beyond the summer.
The 24-year-old is being weighed up by Arsenal officials desperate to solve their goalscoring crisis.
And mega-rich Newcastle have also entered the race for his signature with their new owners determined to find a ‘new Alan Shearer’ at St James’.
