POLICE are investigating an incident of attempted criminal damage after two petrol bombs were thrown at Conor McGregor’s Black Forge Inn pub.
The UFC star owns the licensed premises on Drimnagh Road in Crumlin, Dublin after buying it for £2million.
But now a Garda investigation has been launched after two petrol bombs were thrown at the pub overnight.
They also responded to reports that two pipe bombs had been left at the premises.
A statement from Black Forge Inn Management said: “After hours last night it appears that criminals made an unprovoked effort to inflict damage to the Black Forge Inn.
“There was no damage done to any patrons, employees or the Forge and Mr. McGregor was not on the premises at the time of the incident. The gardai have opened an investigation into the event. We are open and busy as always.”
A spokesperson for An Garda Siochana said: “Gardai are investigating an incident of attempted criminal damage at a licenced premises on the Drimnagh Road, Crumlin last night, Wednesday 12th January 2022.
“No damage was done to the premises. Gardai are appealing for witnesses in relation to this incident is asked to contact Gardai."

Cops asked for anyone with camera footage of the area overnight to come forward.
They said: “Gardai are particularly keen for anyone with camera footage from the area overnight to make this available to them. Anyone with any information is asked to contact Crumlin Garda station on 01 666 2000, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda station.”
The Irish superstar purchased the property, situated in his hometown, in 2019 for £2m.
It is the same place where McGregor delivered bottles of his Proper No Twelve whiskey in Christmas 2018.
It underwent a huge that saw the luxurious pub fitted with a giant medieval-like long table, a large glass cabinet full of his signature whiskey and a large plasma TV.
He provided his followers with an inside look at the Black Forge Inn, which boasts both a restaurant and bar area, via his social media.
Conor and partner Dee Devlin enjoyed a festive night out along with his sister Aoife one night, with the pub suitably decked out with Christmas decorations.
He made headlines previously after - the scene of his infamous assault on a man in 2019.
Along with the pubs, his other businesses are flying, which include sports recovery spray Tidl, a fashion line with David August and fitness app 'McGregor Fast'.
Last year, McGregor sold shares in Proper 12, in a deal which banked him close to £130m.
Meanwhile, the fighter has recently shown off his incredible shape as he works out in the gym ahead of a return to action.
