Fury slams Paul UFC callouts
Tommy Fury has questioned Jake Paul's decision to call out multiple UFC stars, including Jorge Masvidal, after beating Tyron Woodley at the weekend.
He told Dev Sahni on The Unibet Lowdown"To hear him after the fight calling out all these MMA people.
"I don't get what he is trying to achieve with these UFC people. He wants to be a boxer, doesn't he? So fight a boxer.
"Stop calling out all these wrestlers and non-boxers.
"I think he is very lucky that it wasn't me in there instead of Tyron Woodley. I am trying to give him a bit more credit, but I just can't.
"People who come out and don't do anything against me get put to sleep."
Paul and Ali share birthdays
Jake Paul believes sharing the same birthday as Muhammad Ali 'means something' - and has the backing of Mike Tyson.
He said on his brother Logan's podcast: "Muhammad Ali and I have the same birthday and I think it's weird. I think it means something. January 17th."
Iron Mike's iconic mentor and coach Cus D'Amato - who once trained Ali - is also born on the same day.
And Tyson, 55, could not believe it when the YouTuber told him the news that he shares the same birthday as two of boxing's most historic names.
Paul, 24, said: "When I sat with Mike Tyson on his podcast, bro, he's so smart and wise and he was sitting next to me for like 20 minutes just preaching knowledge.
"And he goes, 'Bro, you're the GOAT, January 17th people are not to be messed with'.
"When I told him my birthday, he was like, 'Oh my god'. He like freaked out. He literally freaked out and he says, 'I see it now. It all makes sense'."
More from Fury on Paul
Tommy Fury was also asked on whether he believed Jake Paul had improved from his last fight.
To which he emphatically responded: "No. Honest truth he looked better in his last fight.
"This fight he didn’t do anything. For the first five rounds it was a hugging affair. He didn’t show me anything.
"He doesn’t move his head. The only way you get better is the amount of ring time you have. He’s got to learn that.
"I think he was lucky it wasn’t me in there instead of Tyrone. I try to give him more credit but I can’t."
Fury breaks silence on Paul
Tommy Fury has spoken for the first time since Jake Paul knocked out Tyron Woodley in Florida at the weekend.
Woodley stepped in at short notice to fight Paul, after Fury withdrew due to illness and injury.
And Fury told Frank Warren’s Queensberry Promotions: "I think it’s a bad place when the commentator says it’s pretty hard to watch now.
"They were joking who won that round and it was nobody. It went on for multiple rounds.
"I was watching and it was upsetting for me to watch because I know if I’d have been in there it wouldn’t have been going six or seven rounds.
"That was meant to be my night. The people who know me know how much of a bitter pill that was."
Woodley suspended for two months
Tyron Woodley has been medically suspended for 60 days after being knocked out by Jake Paul.
Woodley was brutally dropped to the canvas in the sixth round of his rematch with 'Problem Child' Paul.
And now he has been suspended for two months.
Paul considering future UFC switch
Jake Paul has revealed he would only consider an MMA switch if he fought Canelo Alvarez and had an undefeated 12-0 boxing record.
Paul is now 5-0 as a professional boxer, with knockout wins over former UFC pair Ben Askren and Tyron Woodley.
He was urged by UFC welterweight Jorge Masvidal to cross over to the octagon so they can fight.
But Paul admitted only after certain goals are achieved would he even contemplate the switch of codes.
Asked if he would ever fight in the UFC octagon, he responded: "After I'm like 10-0, maybe 12-0. After I fight probably Canelo."
Paul goes on UFC rant
Jake Paul has claimed he earns more money than every 'silly motherf***er' in the UFC combined - including Conor McGregor.
He said on his brother Logan's podcast in an X-rated rant: "I make more than every UFC fighter f***ing combined, including Conor.
"Y'all work for f***ing Dana, y'all work for WME, Endeavor, that's who you work for.
"I make more than all of you silly motherf***ers. Why would I go into the UFC? Sign a contract and give away my f***ing rights and s***.
"I own my content, I own my platform, I own everything. They don't own s***, they are literally employees.
"I'm a f***ing CEO and every UFC fighter is an employee. Get that straight. I'm not coming over there and doing s*** with y'all."
Ngannou 'impressed' by Jake Paul
UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou has admitted he is 'impressed' by Jake Paul's boxing skills.
Paul secured a stunning knockout victory over Tyron Woodley on Saturday night in Florida.
Speaking to TMZ, Ngannou said: "I was impressed by Jake Paul. I didn't see that coming.
"I was sure that Tyron Woodley was gonna win this fight, you know?
"But you gotta give it to Jake Paul. He made a statement, a huge statement and he proved that he puts his money where his mouth is."
Paul ready for Julia proposal
Jake Paul has revealed he will propose to girlfriend Julia Rose as soon as possible.
When asked when he will pop the question to model partner Julia, Paul responded: "ASAP."
Julia has supporting boyfriend Paul for much of his unbeaten 5-0 boxing career, which started professionally in January 2020.
What Paul said to Masvidal
Here's what Jake Paul said on the IMPAULSIVE podcast as he called out Jorge Masvidal.
He claimed: "Masvidal, I got an offer for you right now. Five million dollar guarantee, plus percentage of pay-per-views.
"That's the most you will ever have made in a fight, ever. So, now you can't say, 'I either fight the best, or I fight for money'.
"Five million dollar guarantee, plus percentage of pay-per-view, let's make it happen, that's the most you would have gotten paid, period, times triple.
"Daddy Dana just has to let you out of your contract. You work for the UFC, you're a b****, basically."
Masvidal wants £20m to fight
Jorge Masvidal has turned down Jake Paul's $5million offer for a boxing match.
Speaking on the IMPAULSIVE podcast, Paul confirmed he had offered the UFC star that figure to fight.
Masvidal took to Twitter though to demand four-times that fee for a potential bout.
He said: "1. The ufc isn’t gonna let me go for chump change.
"2. Make that 20 guaranteed plus Ppv and I’m sure the ufc will be ok with it as long as I break them off their fee and then I’ll gladly break your face."
Paul targets Chavez next - not Fury
Jake Paul is targeting ex-world champ Julio Cesar Chavez Jr over Tommy Fury as the YouTuber builds on his second victory over Tyron Woodley.
The unbeaten ex-Disney star believes doubters will stop taking the Mickey after he KO'd former UFC king Woodley in the sixth round.
Tyson Fury's half-brother Tommy pulled out of his hotly-awaited grudge match with Paul due to a 'chest infection and broken rib'.
But American Paul reckons the devastating manner of his Woodley triumph shows he can now step up dramatically in class.
His manager Nakisa Bidarian wrote on Instagram: "It shows you how impressive Jake is that people think this should be his next opponent.
"Even more impressed is that Jake messages @nakisabidarian and said let's get this one next."
Mexican hero Chavez Jr, 35, has lost five of his last six bouts, losing on a split decision defeat last time out to ex-UFC great Anderson Silva in June.
But victorious Paul claims his relationship with Woodley 'doesn’t end here' - and has even suggested they star in a ‘Buddy-Cop movie together’.
The Yank also insisted he wants to win a world title belt – but would ‘throw it on the f***ing ground and stomp on it’.
He said: “I would love to just continue to put on historic events, sell massive pay-per-views and fight higher level opposition as I go.
“Maybe when the time is right I’ll go for the world championship belt. It would be funny to become world champion and be like, ‘Yeah, I’m a YouTuber’."
Paul targets Chavez over Fury
Jake Paul has seemingly snubbed Tommy Fury as his next opponent and chosen to fight former world champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.
The YouTuber turned boxer scored a stunning sixth-round KO victory over former UFC champ Tyron Woodley last weekend to stretch his record to a perfect 5-0.
And according to his manager Nakisa Bidarian, the former Disney star wants to test himself against former WBC middleweight champ Chavez Jr next.
He wrote on Instagram: "It shows you how impressive that Jake is that people think this should be his next opponent.
"Even more impressed is that Jake messages @nakisabidarian and said let's get this one next."
Chavez Jr, the son of Mexican great Julio Sr, has lost five of his last six fights since losing the 160lb strap to Sergio Martinez in 2012.
The 35-year-old was last in action in June, suffering a split decision defeat to former UFC great Anderson Silva.
Paul's setting of his sights on a clash with Chavez Jr appears to have ended talk of a grudge match with Fury.
Paul wants to romp and stomp to world title
Jake Paul has said he wants to win a world title belt – only to ‘throw it on the f***ing ground and stomp on it’.
He said: “I would love to just continue to put on historic events, sell massive pay-per-views and fight higher level opposition as I go.
“Maybe when the time is right I’ll go for the world championship belt, whatever belt that is – IBF, WBA, WBO, I don’t know.
“It would be funny to become world champion and be like, ‘Yeah, I’m a YouTuber’.
“As soon as I win the world championship, I’d take the belt and I would throw it on the f*****g ground and stomp on it, because you’re a champion in here (pointing to his head) and in your heart… I am a champion.”
Paul and Warren in Twitter spat
Jake Paul found himself embroiled in a Twitter spat with Tommy Fury's promoter Frank Warren after claiming to have not heard a 'peep' out of them about rescheduling their grudge match.
Paul and Fury, 22 and 24 respectively, were scheduled to throw down last weekend until the latter was forced out of their showdown through injury and illness.
YouTuber turned boxer Paul expected to hear from Team Fury after his stunning sixth-round KO of former UFC champ Tyron Woodley, although he claims they've yet to get in contact with his management.
On Tuesday evening, the former Disney star tweeted: "Just asked my team if we have heard from the Fury’s, Frank Warren, or Queensberry… not a f*****g peep!
"Fumbles and fake f***s they are."
That enraged veteran Queensbury Promotions chief Warren, who questioned Paul's desire to face the former Love Islander.
Upon seeing the tweet, Warren replied: "No fumbles and fakes here.
"We spoke to your manager last weekend. Tommy wants it. We want it. Do you want it?
"Let’s make the fight!!"
Paul wants 'Buddy-Cop movie with Woodley'
Jake Paul fancies ANOTHER sequel with Tyron Woodley - but on the silver screen.
After completing his second win in the boxing ring over the UFC icon, YouTuber Paul hopes they make a 'Buddy-Cop movie together'.
Paul reckons sports and social media fans love his ongoing saga with T-Wood.
And he said: “People are saying we should do a podcast together.
"I think it would be funny to do a Buddy-Cop movie together. So, our relationship doesn’t end here.”
Memes the word for Tyron
Tyron Woodley has encouraged fans to create good memes about him after his loss to Jake Paul on Saturday night.

Paul's best buds with Woodley
Jake Paul has stated his relationship with rival Tyron Woodley "doesn't end here".
Paul defeated Woodley with a sixth-round knockout on Saturday at the Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida.
The Problem Child, though, wants to work with the 39-year-old "legend" again in the future and teased a "buddy cop movie" they could shoot together.
Paul told TMZ: "He's a legend and we have to respect Tyron.
"He's an amazing guy, I'm [going to] hit him up, people are saying we should do a podcast together.
"I think it'd be funny if we did a buddy cop movie together, so our relationship doesn't end here.
"If he wants to retire then he should retire, but that's up to him. I still think there's a lot of money for him to make."
Ty-me out for Woodley
Tyron Woodley has been medically suspended for 60 days after being knocked out by Jake Paul on Saturday.
The former UFC welterweight champion replaced Tommy Fury in the event as he attempted to avenge his defeat to the 24-year-old from August.
But Woodley suffered a huge knockout blow in the sixth round after he was caught with a hard right hand.
Now he has been suspended for two months.
The medical suspensions were released yesterday by the Florida Department of Licensing and Regulation, which oversees the boxing commission.

Wood you believe it?
Tyron Woodley has lifted the lid on the one mistake he made during his knockout defeat to Jake Paul.
He said: "I had both hands up, I knew it was coming.
"I was ready to block the overhand and I don't know if he delayed it.
"Even if he didn't delay it, I don't know why I dropped my hand.
"In this sport, it can only take one mistake. Literally one mistake."
I'm just being Frank here
Tommy Fury's promoter Frank Warren has stared his fighter was unlucky to miss out on his bout to face Jake Paul.
And he has even stated that the dust-up could be rescheduled for early next year.
He told Sky Sports: "We will be looking to reschedule in early 2022.
"Jake said that Tommy Fury was 'lucky' he wasn't in there but really Tommy was extremely unlucky to miss out with his injury.
"A fit Tommy Fury is a very different proposition to Tyron Woodley."
Paul wants world title belt
Ty-ron the big screen
Tyron Woodley helped train Hollywood legend Denzel Washington for The Equalizer II.
Woodley, the UFC welterweight champion at the time, is a friend of movie fight coordinator Lin Oeding.
Due to his relationship with director Oeding, it afforded him a chance to work with Oscar winner Washington on set in the 2018 Equalizer II set.
Woodley has featured both as himself and as an actor on several TV and movies.
The part-time rapper, 39, has not fought in the UFC since losing to Vicente Luque, 30, in March, which was his fourth defeat on the bounce.
He then left the UFC to pursue boxing and fought but was beaten by YouTube star Jake Paul, 24, over eight rounds in August.
