The England star has now scooped the prize the same number of times as league legends Roy Keane, Robbie Fowler, Fernando Torres, Luis Suarez, Eden Hazard AND Raheem Sterling.

It follows the Liverpool local first being named Player of the Month in December 2019.

Sterling of course still plays in the Premier League, and could yet win Player of the Month again, however Alexander-Arnold is four years his junior.

Hazard too may have his eyes on landing the individual prize again, with West Ham and Newcastle both reportedly keen on bringing the Belgian back to England.

Despite regularly wowing fans during his seven-year stint with Chelsea, Hazard only claimed the award on two occasions.

People forget that Alexander-Arnold's primary role is a defender, and two clean sheets in November also contributed to him earning the praise.

His 10 chances created in three Prem games last month was more than any other player in the top-flight.

The England man scored a sumptuous free-kick and provided an assist in the 3-2 defeat to West Ham, before setting up two in the 4-0 win against Arsenal.

Then he was at it again when Southampton visited Anfield, notching yet another assist in the 4-0 win.

Alexander-Arnold beat Liverpool team-mate Diogo Jota, Manchester City duo Bernardo Silva and Joao Cancelo, John McGinn and Emmanuel Dennis to the prize.

It's the second month in a row the award has gone to Anfield, with Mohamed Salah named the league's best player for October.

The forward scored a staggering five goals and provided four assists in that month alone.

Incredibly it was the FIFTH time that he has been named Prem Player of the Month in just four years.

So Alexander-Arnold still has some way to go to catch up with the Egyptian King's number of titles.
