LIVERPOOL striker Mario Balotelli has travelled to Nice in the south of France to discuss a potential move.
The Italian striker is interested to play with French outfit as he is looking for regular football.
However, a deal is far from being sealed as both parties are just discussing and a fee is yet to be agreed.
Balotelli, 26, has scored only four goals in 28 appearances for Liverpool since joining for £16million in 2014, and is now looking to exit Anfield.
The striker spent last season on loan with former club AC Milan.
Nice's new boss Lucien Favre - who was appointed after Claude Puel took charge of Southampton in the Premier League - said Balotelli has to prove his value.
Favre said: "I don't know him personally, but if he runs and wants to help the youngsters, then why not?
