Crystal Palace may finally be close to signing a striker after Loic Remy angles for move to Selhurst

LOIC REMY wants to move to Crystal Palace and stay in London as he does not appear to be in the plans of Antonio Conte

However the Lyon manager appearing to distance himself with a move for Remy is good news for Palace.

The club have had failed bids for Michy Batshuayi and Christain Benteke this summer and with Yannick Bolasie being sold to Everton along with the departure of Dwight Gayle to Newcastle they are thin in attacking areas.

Pardew knows the need for a striker after last seasons great start to the Premier League didnt end well with the club winning just twice in the league since January.

Its White Hart Lane up next for Palace as they take on Tottenham and aim to get some points on the board as quickly as possible after last weeks opening day defeat at home to West Brom.
