REBECCA Adlington has reduced fans to tears after posting a heart-warming video of her adorable daughter Summer on social media.
The 27-year-old four-time Olympic medallist shared the sweet clip of her one-year-old tot with her 62,800 Instagram followers, writing: “#missyou #3moresleeps #crying”.
The 10-second film, which has no sound, shows Summer transfixed at the television screen as her mother commentates at the Rio Olympics.
The youngster, who has her mum’s striking blonde hair, is seen standing next to the widescreen device before trying to stroke Rebecca’s face.
The Mansfield-born swimmer is believed to have left her daughter in the care of ex-husband Harry Needs while she works in Brazil.
Fans were touched by the sweet clip and left messages of support.
“Awwwwww that's so cute. She must love u so much!” wrote one, while another added: “So tender and cute, melting down like an ice cube under the sun.”
Another added: “Aw bless her. She'll be so proud of her mama when she's old enough to know!”
"Oh bless, I'm crying too!! @beckadlington you'll be home soon to lots of cuddles and kisses xx," one fan commented.
Despite their split in March, Rebecca told the Irish Mirror that she and Harry are “still very much the best of friends”.
She said: “It’s not like we’re not talking , because we are – we talk all the time. We are both just working hard on trying to be good parents, and our total focus is on our daughter.”

The pair had been married for 18 months when they announced their separation.
The cute clip, which has racked up over 36,000 views, comes days after the former I’m a Celebrity star welled up as she spotted Michael Phelps give his baby boy Boomer a kiss to celebrate winning his 20th Olympic gold.
She could be heard squealing “awww” as Michael greeted his family after his landmark win.
“What an amazing family unit,” co-presenter Helen Skelton gushed, before adding: “Oh, we've both gone.”
Helen has also left her 14-month-old son Ernie in the UK, being looked after by his rugby-playing father Richie Myler.
