HELEN Skelton is set to become a regular face on BBC after reportedly landing a lucrative new contract due to her star turn covering the Rio Olympics.
The presenter was caught up in a headline-grabbing scandal over her short skirts, but it looks like all the attention has helped her secure a cushy new job.
Helen won millions of new fans after she was hired to host coverage of the games in Brazil this month, but her skimpy outfits divided viewers.
Many were fuming over the amount of flesh she was flashing on TV, but some were outraged when she began wearing more modest outfits following the outrage.
She is no long part of the Olympics shows now the swimming events she hosted are over, but it appears Helen impressed BBC bosses and will soon be a regular face on TV back home in Britain.
The show is said to be a coveted prime time series with a bumper pay cheque for the 33-year-old mother-of-one.
An insider told the Mail Online: "Countryfile is still ongoing.
"She has a couple more things in the pipeline but nothing else signed off right now.
"She is also the face of Karrimor and is doing a new in store campaign."
The news will be a major boost to Helen, who has been left reeling after a topless picture scandal.
A number of saucy pictures of the TV star, taken when she was a teenager during a holiday in France.
The snaps have come from a video which is believed to have been shot when she was just 17, and a source told The Sun Online exclusively that Helen is distressed by the leak.
The insider told us: "Helen was in France on holiday aged 17 when this footage was taken.
"She obviously had no idea it was going to end up being circulated on the internet.
"It's pretty distressing for her as it is a million miles away from her public image now and the image she wants to present to the public.
"It's also very disappointing that people are trying to make money from topless pictures of a 17-year-old girl."
