Top darts stars raising money for tragic Kyle Anderson’s young family after his shock death aged just 33
TOP DARTS players are trying to raise funds for tragic Kyle Anderson’s family.
Popular PDC player Anderson, who reached a high of 22 in the world rankings and hit an Ally Pally nine-darter, died this week at 33.
The Australian leaves behind his wife Tara, young son Charles and five-month-old baby Marcus.
Ahas been set up for donations by his manager.
And players are giving away signed shirts thanks to the work of best mate Damon Heta.
Stars like Phil Taylor, the 16-time world champion, James Wade, Glen Durrant and Michael Smith have all contributed items.
Australian World No.40 Heta said: Thank you, everyone, for the overwhelming love and support.
“It just goes to show how loved Kyle was and how missed he will be.”
Earlier this month Anderson posted a picture of himself in hospital along with a caption which read: “Getting all too regular now.”

The darts superstar, from Perth, contracted Covid-19 in 2020 and battled with diabetes, however, a cause of death has not yet been confirmed.
Anderson took the darts world by storm in December 2013 after producing a nine-dart finish at the televised World Championship last year.
The player was a regular competitor at Alexandra Palace every Christmas making seven appearances and winning six contests on the PDC’s most prestigious stage.
And he would later reach the quarter-finals of the UK Open in 2016 and the European Championship semis in 2017.
The much-loved darts ace’s passing came just a month after the death of darts icon Andy ‘the Viking’ Fordham.
The London-born star, who enjoyed a successful career in the sport, won the BDO World Darts Championship in 2004.
