PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN reportedly want a whopping £188million for Kylian Mbappe with Real Madrid leading the race to sign the forward.
And Sporting director Leonardo is thought to be expecting the player to stick to a pledge to not leave for free, according to French outlet Le Parisien.
It is before the transfer deadline should he desire a move to pastures new.
The 2018 World Cup winner has been at the centre of speculation linking him with a Parc des Prince exit.
Manchester United are thought to be among the European giants keen on swooping for the star who could potentially leave Paris for free next summer.
ESPN reports the club are believed to be monitoring the player’s situation and are willing to meet his wage demands.
But it is claimed a move to Spain’s capital is the preferred choice for the Ligue 1 hotshot who netted 27 goals in 31 top-flight appearances in France last term.
And Real Madrid are rumoured to be ahead of their rivals for his signature.
This is despite PSG sporting chief Leonardo criticising the LaLiga outfit for making what he describes as ‘an illegal and unacceptable’ £137million bid for Mbappe.

The figure tabled by the Bernabeu side is less than the amount French giants, who play Reims next, paid for the player two years ago.
Officials at the Parc des Prince side are reported to consider the move is part of a deliberate ploy to try and land Mbappe for free after his contract ends in June 2022.
However it is thought PSG would be open to permitting a Madrid move for the player, but on the proviso, they receive their asking price for the player.
Earlier this week Leonardo said: “Kylian Mbappe wants to join Real Madrid and we will not hold him back. We said no to Madrid’s first offer but if our conditions are met, we’ll see.
“We’ll allow it but on our conditions. Kylian always promised us he will not leave for free.
“It seems like a strategy from Madrid to try to get a ‘no’ from us, to show that they have tried everything and to wait for a year to get him for free."
"For the last two years, the behaviour of Madrid has been incorrect, illegal, getting in contact with his representatives, unacceptable, completely incorrect towards us.
"And the proof of this strategy is to present an offer seven days before the market shuts and a year before the end of his contract. It seems like a strategy that suggests they have tried everything.
"I'm not going to get into figures but the €160m [£137m] is less than we paid for him. But this goes further than this. It's the way things have been done.”
Mbappe has taken Ligue 1 storm since moving from Monaco to PSG in 2018 for a reported £154million (180m euros).

The forward has netted 79 goals in 82 Ligue One appearances for the club who are currently managed by Mauricio Pochettino.
And Mbappe was on target in PSG’s 4-2 drubbing of Brest with the Paris side current top of the table after three games this term.
