CHELSEA remain in talks with Sevilla over the potential transfer of centre-back Jules Kounde with the Spaniards eyeing Ozan Kabak as his replacement, according to reports.
The champions of Europe are eyeing a Premier League title charge this season.
They are in talks to re-sign forward Romelu Lukaku from Inter Milan for a fee north of £100million.
The Blues are also in talks to sign highly rated France international Kounde from Sevilla, according to reputable Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano.
Chelsea want to include defender Kurt Zouma in the deal - who was in talks over a move to London rivals West Ham - but there's currently no agreement over the defender's value.
But should Sevilla sanction a move, the Spanish side will move for Schalke's Kabak, who spent the second half of last season on loan at Liverpool.
Romano said on : "Sevilla are still looking for a new centre back as Jules Koundé talks with Chelsea continue.
"There’s still no agreement on Kurt Zouma value.
"Sevilla have offered €10m to sign Ozan Kabak. Schalke turned down the opening proposal - price tag around €15m. Talks on."

Zouma isn't the only Chelsea player who has been offered to Sevilla.
According to Goal, Chelsea offered Kenedy to Sevilla but the Spanish club are not interested in the 25-year-old.
Sevilla are keen to get the Frenchman's release clause of £68m, but could sanction a deal if the player-plus-cash offer is sufficient.
