VICTOR WANYAMA could not travel to Norway with the rest of the squad to play Inter Milan because his Visa was not processed in time.
Mauricio Pochettino and his 25 man squad travelled to Norway yesterday but questions were asked when the new Spurs midfielder name didn't appear among his team mates.
Worries began to mount amongst the Spurs faithful as rumbles of an injury began to spread, but Wanyama was quick to dispel such rumours informing fans via Twitter that his "Visa didn't get processed in time"
Although Wanyama was clearly disappointed he still wished his new team-mates luck ahead of their clash with the Milan giants.
Wanyama has been one of Tottenham's most impressive players this pre-season, playing a key role in the heart of the midfield where England new boy Eric Dier performed so impressively last season - so his absence could be a big miss for the North London club.
Meanwhile, Tottenham's new signing was not the only notable absence from the squad, with Nabil Bentaleb and Nacer Chadli, the former has already been told that he is not wanted by the Argentine manager at White Hart Lane, while the Belgium wingers place is looking less and less likely. England Youngster Jos h Onomah is also absent but its safe to say he isnt on his way out of the club as the 20-year-old prepares for a breakthrough season at the Lane.
