‘Give Pep Guardiola time’ urges Manchester City star Kevin De Bruyne ahead of Premier League kick-off
KEVIN DE BRUYNE has urged Manchester City fans to be patient under new manager Pep Guardiola.
Excitement has been building since the former Barcelona and Bayern Munich boss took over from Manuel Pellegrini this summer.
The Spaniard has wasted no time in splashing the cash to bring in Ilkay Gundogan,
Nolito, Oleksandr Zinchenko, Leroy Sane and Gabriel Jesus.
Belgian attacker De Bruyne, who impressed during his first season at the Etihad last campaign, admitted Guardiola is making a number of changes at the club.
And he warned that it may take time for the side to click into gear.
De Bruyne said: “He's changing a few things.
"I think tactically he's going to change a few things.”

When quizzed on if the new man’s methods will take time to come into effect, the 25-year-old admitted that it could take a while before the Citizens squad hit full gear.
De Bruyne added: “Possibly yes - especially with all of the late arrivals.
“It's tough to build a team when a lot of people are coming in late after the Euros and the Copa America.’”
