FIRED-UP England fans stormed bars and pubs last night as England reigned victorious with a stunning 2-1 win against Denmark.

The Three Lions will now take on Italy in the historic Euros final on Sunday - the first time England have reached a final in 55 years.

The nation backed the boys for two hours during the electric semi-final in packed pubs, bars, front rooms and in Wembley itself.

England fans joined the players in singing the iconic Sweet Caroline as the team celebrated their monumental win after a nail-biting finish in extra time.

After a tense 90 minutes finished 1-1, Three Lions fans were forced to endure the familiar pain of extra time in a semi-final.

In the first few minutes, England continued to drive forward - but could not find the back of the net.

But in the 12th minute, Raheem Sterling went crashing to the ground - winning England a PENALTY.

Harry Kane's shot was saved by Kasper Schmeichel - but the Spurs ace smashed the ball into the net on the rebound, putting England into the lead.

When the final whistle finally blew on a historic win - scenes of jubilation erupted across the country.

In London euphoric supporters scaled lampposts and even double decker buses as they took to the streets in Trafalgar Square and Leicester Square.

There were similar scenes in Bristol, Manchester and Newcastle as supporters drank, sang and celebrated Gareth Southgate's boys taking a step closer to bringing it home.

Among the crowd inside Wembley was a star studded line-up including Prince William.

The Duke of Cambridge, president of the Football Association, was seen beaming and clapping as he celebrating England's win in a dapper shirt and tie.

However, Wills attended the game alone as wife Kate Middleton is at home in isolation after being pinged by the NHS Covid app.

Boris Johnson and his wife Carrie were also cheering the lads on at Wembley tonight - with the PM buzzing as England equalised through an own goal.

Footie legends David Beckham and Paul Gascoigne were also among the celebs cheering the boys on.

Earlier on, lucky fans who managed to secure a ticket for tonight's game descended on Wembley in their thousands.

Flags were painted on roundabouts, hero Harry Kane was immortalised in a pizza and rooftops scream messages of support as the country comes together.

Eager fans across the capital dressed up for the monumental game - wearing Southgate masks and dressing as English knights.

And rowdy revellers let off coloured flares outside Wembley ahead of the semi-final showdown.

And as the star players were warming up on the pitch earlier, Gareth Southgate look-a-like was mobbed by excited supporters on Wembley Way.

The British Beer & Pub Association (BBPA) believes fans will have necked 6.8million pints during the game - with 9.7million bought in total.

Hundreds of fans have made their way to Leicester Square tonight - chanting and singing as restaurants and pubs are filled to the brim.

After a bleak year that saw Euro 2020 delayed by 12 months, the Three Lions' impressive run through the tournament has finally given the nation hope.

Excitement simmering under the surface has now exploded as supporters come together to make the beautiful game beautiful again.

Flags flying from windows and chants of Football's Coming Home have echoed across England as fans prove they still believe after 55 years of hurt.

Pubs will even stay open an extra 45 minutes on Sunday in case Our Boys make it to the final.

And Southgate's hardworking squad have become heroes after reaching the final.
