Molly Qerim is a television personality, journalist, and philanthropist, who was born on March 31, 1984, in New Haven, Connecticut.

Qerim graduated from the University of Connecticut with a bachelor's degree in communication and from Quinnipiac University with a master's degree in broadcast journalism.

Her career with ESPN dates back to 2006 when she worked as a contributor for the network's digital and mobile platforms.

Her work with Fantasy Football Now earned her an Emmy Award in 2008, according to her .

She later worked for CBS Sports and the NFL Network before returning to ESPN in 2015.

In addition to ESPN, she is known for her work with the Boys and Girls Club of America and The Innocence Project.

She is also an advocate for endometriosis awareness.

On April 4, 2024, Qerim made headlines for implying that former NCAA star and WNBA player Caitlin Clark was "lucky" to face an injury-riddled University of Connecticut during the NCAA Basketball Tournament.

She said, "All I gotta say is she's lucky this UConn team isn't healthy... if Paige Bueckers didn't basically miss two seasons, I don't know if we'd be talking about Caitlin Clark the way we are right now."

The comments drew the ire of co-host Stephen A. Smith, who argued that Molly "would not be saying that up if it were not UConn."

"In my personal relationship, it was laughable to me, to see [Molly Querim] and I mutually part ways, be in accord about why we’re parting ways, and still see people speculating on why," he said.

"Not only speculating—in particular saying it was because her and Stephen A. Smith had a relationship. And…And, like, unequivocally, I’m not here to speak for what he does in his personal life or what she does in her personal life, I got love for both of them.

"We still 100. I would just say that for people who thought we parted ways because they have a relationship? Then I got some swampland in Detroit to sell you for top dollar. That is not why we split.

He then revealed that the pair "just didn’t work as a couple," and how he handled working alongside Smith.

"When it happened, it’s two ways for me to handle it as a professional: I work with him, I got love for him, and that's my brother. I got love for her, we were friends before we were married, we just didn’t work as a couple," he concluded.
