Canelo Alvarez reacts to Floyd Mayweather failing to KO Logan Paul prompting Jake Paul to call him out
JAKE PAUL has called out Canelo Alvarez, after the super middleweight champion mocked Floyd Mayweather's failure to beat his brother Logan.
Mayweather couldn't knock Logan Paul out in eight rounds, with no judges scoring the exhibition bout.
Canelo, who lost to Mayweather on points in 2013, tweeted a facepalm emoji in response.
And Jake Paul was quick to respond.
The brash American quote-tweeted it, writing: "You can’t sell PPV’s
"I would eat you alive."
Canelo, 30, had already been critical of the Paul brothers entering the boxing world.
He said before the fight: "Well, it’s just an exhibition. It’s about making money is all.
“It’s not really relevant at all, it’s just for making money.
“It’s stupid. I think the question [asking who wins] is offensive.

“I have nothing against anyone. I’m not a fan of saying bad things, but they give them boxing licences when they’re not a boxer.
“They could get them killed. This is not a soccer game, they could get them killed.”
Jake Paul, 24, is set to face Tyron Woodley on August 28, after his first round KO of grappler Ben Askren back in April.
He has also been called out by John Fury, who dared him to fight son Tommy on the undercard of Tyson's July 24 trilogy bout with Deontay Wilder.
