"Finally, Vegas is open again. And you know you've been wanting a badass weekend in Vegas."

FURIOUS McGREGOR

The announcement of Poirier vs McGregor III comes less than two days after the latter seemingly pulled the plug on their rubber match.

An irate McGregor publicly said the fight is 'off' after Poirier revealed he's yet to make good on a promised $500,000 donation to The Good Fight Foundation.

After seeing Poirier's tweet, a furious McGregor said: "You’re ripped you inbred hillbilly.

"Why do you wink with your ears? You f***ing brain dead hillbilly.

"$500k with no plan in place. Ye hang tight. Fool. You must be new to money.

"The fight is off btw. I’m going to fight someone else on the 10th. Good luck on your old contract kid."

He later added: "It’s Mardi Gras b****es get your t**s out for it."

McGregor, 32, suffered a brutal second-round KO defeat to the former interim lightweight champion in January in the main event of UFC 257 in Abu Dhabi.

Defeat to The Diamond was McGregor's second in the lightweight division, the first of which came at the hands of his bitter rival Khabib Nurmagomedov.

A second consecutive loss to the American would add fuel to the fire that the former two-division champion's best days are behind him.
