Arsenal duo Emile Smith Rowe and Martin Odegaard facing race against time to be fit for Sheffield Utd game after injury
ARSENAL could be without Martin Odegaard and Emile Smith-Rowe against Sheffield United on Sunday.
Odegaard, 22, continues to struggle with an ankle problem he first picked up while away on international duty in a game for Norway against Gibraltar.
And Smith Rowe, 20, is reportedly suffering from a similar issue as an ankle injury threatens to sideline him for Sunday's match.
But there is good news for Mikel Arteta in the form of Calum Chambers, 26, who is fit and available for selection according to reporter Charles Watts.
The defender has completed 90 minutes in three of the last four league games but missed out against Slavia Prague due to injury.
But he could come back into the side as Cedric Soares made a mistake for the last-minute goal as he lost goalscorer Tomáš Holeš from the corner.
And while a return could be on the cards for Chambers, Odegaard and Smith-Rowe will be touch and go with one eye on next Thursday's match.
Arsenal are seven points off Tottenham in sixth place so the Blades game is a must-win if they are to qualify for the Europa League.
