THAT’S ALL FROM PARKEN STADIUM
On a day that started with highs of emotion for the Danes, unfortunately ends with saddened emotion too.
Denmark came flying out the blocks full of passion and it paid off when Yussuf Poulsen gave the Danish the lead with only two minutes of playing time gone.
They could have had more too if it wasn’t for a mixture of some last-itch challenges and poor finishing.
At one stage, the #1 ranked country in the world couldn’t string three passes together let alone get out their own half.
A savior was seriously needed.
And that man’s name is Kevin De Bruyne.
The midfield magician came on as a second half substitute to create the equaliser and score the winner.
Denmark continued to press and play their football, but the talent in the Belgian ranks outclassed them on the day.
The highlight of the game for me was when everyone stopped to clap in union for Christian Eriksen on the 10th minute.
It was a true reminder of how football can bring a community together.
Thank you for sticking with me this evening and I hope everyone enjoys the rest of their day!
EUROSOTM
Romelu Lukaku picks up the EUROS Of The Match award for his inspirational performance in Belgium's comeback.
I would have personally given it to Kevin De Bruyne but congratulations neverthelesss.
OTHER RESULT
The 14:00 fixture involving Ukraine and North Macedonia saw the Ukranian's run out 2-1 winners.
That result means that North Macedonia stay bottom of group c with 0 points and Ukraine are currently level on points with Austria and Netherlands who play each other in 30 minutes time.

WAY OFF THE MARK
If the Danes want to stand a chance of progressing, they need to start converting these chances into goals.
In both of their games in EURO 2020, they have attempted 20+ shots during the match but still finishing on the wrong end of the result.
GROUP B CURRENT STANDINGS
Three points in Copenhagen has resulted in Belgium officially becoming the second team to progress to the last 16 of the competition.
As for the Danes, it's not all over because should they beat Russia on the final match-day and Belgium defeat Finland, the fairytale goes on.
BELGIAN CONNECTION
Kevin De Bruyne and Eden Hazard are the first pair of substitutes to both record an assist in a Euros match for the same side since Robin Van Persie and Arjen Robben.
Not bad company to have.
FULL 90 STATS
Belgium controlled more of the possession and the Danes had more shots completely symmetrical to the first half.
The only major difference was the final score-line.
FULL TIME
Belgium complete the comeback to progress to the last 16 of the Euros.
PEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP!
YEP THAT WAS THE LAST PIECE OF ACTION!
BELGIUM ARE THE SECOND TEAM TO PROGRESS!
BUT THE DANES CAN BE PROUD OF THEIR PERFORMANCE!
FT: DENMARK 1-2 BELGIUM
DENMARK 1-2 BELGIUM
90+5. No it doesn't because Romelu Lukaku manages to relieve the danger with a brilliant defensive header.
Yes you read that correct... Romelu goal machine Lukaku.
That should be that.
DENMARK 1-2 BELGIUM
90+3. Hold your horses people.
Thorgan Hazard has given away a free-kick in a dangerous position for Denmark to maybe salvage a point.
Even Kasper Schmeichel has gone up for it and the last time the Danes got anything from Belgium, his father Peter Schemeichel scored a penalty.
Will history repeat itself here?
DENMARK 1-2 BELGIUM
90+1. Denmark are throwing the kitchen sink at Belgium but they just cannot seem to find a breakthrough.
FIVE MINUTES OF ADDED TIME!
DENMARK 1-2 BELGIUM
88. Another attempt on goal by the Danes but this time Jensen went for the solo.
However, it went way over.
The home side are really knocking on the door but Belgium are hanging on to spoil the party.
DENMARK 1-2 BELGIUM
86. THE CROSSBARRRRRR!
Substitute Jens Stryger Larsen hung a delicious ball in the air for Martin Braithwaite to attack which he did with pleaser.
But the Barcelona forward watched his angled header come crashing off the bar.
Braithwaite is so unlucky because that was a tremendous effort and it left Thibaut Courtois routed to the spot.
DENMARK 1-2 BELGIUM
83. HE WAS A TOENAIL AWAY!
Andreas Cornelius pinched the ball off Thomas Meunier before whipping in a teasing ball across the penalty area.
And Martin Braithwaite was inches from getting his stud on the ball which would have surely gone in but the ball whistled past him.
The Danes are getting so so close.
DENMARK 1-2 BELGIUM
79. This isn't fair now.
Kevin De Bruyne and Eden Hazard have started to bring the party tricks out and the Dane players can't get anywhere near them.
Just to remind you, this isn't an international friendly, its the EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIPS!
DENMARK 1-2 BELGIUM
77. WHAT A BLOCK!
Toby Alderwireld saved his defensive partner Jason Denaya from embarrassment because the Belgian gave the ball away to Jannik Vestergaard who looked clean through for an attempt on goal.
But the Spurs defender put his body on the line to block the shot which was definitely goal bound.
KING KEVIN
Kevin De Bruyne put his celebrations on hold in respects for Christian Eriksen despite potentially putting his country in the last 16.
DENMARK 1-2 BELGIUM
71. It was sensational build up to the goal, if you get the chance to watch it, I suggest you do so.
Romelu Lukaku and Eden Hazard played some excellent football between the pair of them before finding Kevin De Bruyne on the edge of the box.
And with his weaker foot, De Bruyne carressed the ball into the bottom corner leaving Kasper Schmeichel with no chance.
It's scary because Hazard and De Bryne aren't even fully fit yet!
GOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAL!
IS THERE ANYTHING THIS MAN CAN'T DO?!
KING KEVIN DE BRUYNE CREATED THE FIRST!
AND NOW HE HAS GOT HIMSELF ON THE SCORESHEET!
MAGNIFICENT GOAL!
DENMARK 1-1 BELGIUM
69. DAMSAGAARD NO THAT'S POOR!
The attacker through himself to the ground asking for a penalty but it was a clear dive and he was booked for it.
So, so embarrassing.
DENMARK 1-1 BELGIUM
66. The Belgians suddenly have a spring in their step.
Kevin De Bruyne played a lovely one-two with Real Madrid attacker Eden Hazard and he nearly found Romelu Lukaku who had made a good run.
But fortunately for Denamrk, their rock at the back Simon Kjaer managed to cut it out.
The Danes need to find that energy they had at the start of the game.
EQUALISER
Belgium's equaliser means that they are one goal away from progressing to the knock-out rounds.
