Now Koeman is targeting the hit-man, who entering the final year of his contract at St Mary's, again.

But the Toffees will face serious competition for his services.

Chinese Super League side Shanghai Greenland have apparently offered Pelle a lucrative long-term contract worth £150,000-a-week and will pay Saints £20million to secure a deal.
