HIRVING LOZANO is on his way to becoming the second Mexican to play for Manchester United after Javier Hernandez.
Well, according to the young Pachuca winger’s father-in-law he is.
The 20-year-old, who has played seven times for his country, including four appearances in last month's Copa America, appears set to join the Red Devils after the Olympics.
Lozano, nicknamed 'Chucky' in his homeland, will be part of the Mexican team hoping to defend their gold medal in Rio.
And his father-in-law told revealed: “Yes. It’s all done, just missing some details and after the Olympics, the deal will become official.”
He added Lozano had already contacted relatives living in London for information on how to open a bank account in the UK.
Pachuca vice-president Andres Fassi also confirmed that the Red Devils had been scouting Lozano and chief scout Jim Lawlor had been to watch Lozano, who scored 12 goals in 47 games last season.
