UFC star Conor McGregor warns ‘I’m jacked and shredded’ after amazing body transformation and says ‘weight is on point’

CONOR McGREGOR warned Dustin Poirier 'I'm jacked and shredded' ahead of their rematch.

The Irishman returns to UFC action when he faces Poirier at UFC 257 on January 23 in Abu Dhabi's Fight Island.

And he is in a confident mood thanks to his stunning body transformation to get back down to lightweight, adding his 'weight is on point'.

McGregor, 32, told : "I'm jacked and I'm shredded. I'm in a tremendous place, I've put the work in.

"Making weight is difficult but difficult things are not so difficult when you commit yourself fully.

"In actuality they become easy and thats where I am at, I've done this flawlessly alongside my team.

"All the work has been calculated, I have got my body into a lightweight frame once again.

"I am full of energy and my double training sessions have ceased, now it's just single sessions.

"The weight is on point and I'm very excited to get in there and showcase myself at 155lb. I've put in the work and I will reap the rewards."

McGregor steps into the octagon for the first time in a year when he takes on Poirier next weekend, six-and-a-half years after their previous bout which the Irish star won in the first round.

And the pictures coming out of the Notorious' camp prove his claims over his body.

He looks in fantastic shape and is a lot more muscular than when he fought Nate Diaz in 2016.

McGregor's head coach John Kavanagh said: "He’s almost unrecognisable looking at the difference between the fights.

“He’s really developed as a professional athlete and at 32, he’s entering his physical and mental prime. So we’re in for some good times.”

McGregor is now fully focused on getting his job done by earning a 23rd professional MMA victory.

And he vowed to do so even quicker than last time around against Poirier.

The two-weight UFC champ revealed: "I will knock Dustin out inside 60 seconds."
