The house is located in the Ladycastle community at the five star Straffan resort in Co. Kildare.

The 3,800 square foot property has four bedrooms, five bathrooms and overlooks the Smurfit Golf Course at K Club, designed by golf legend Arnold Palmer.

To make the most of the views, the house layout is flipped, with bedrooms on the ground floor and the living space on the first floor.

The Championship Golf course, which has twice hosted the European Open, would have been frequented by golf-loving McGregor.

A round of golf for visitors costs £157 at peak times.

The home also comes with mood lighting and gas fired under floor central heating.

There is a double garage and room for several vehicles on the driveway - ideal for motor head McGregor who owns a fleet of cars - including FOUR Rolls Royces.

Security is also tight, with visitors needing to gain access through a main gate and an on-site security company in operation.

McGregor, 32, lived at the house with Devlin and young son Conor Jr during the time of his cross-over fight with boxing legend Floyd Mayweather in 2007.

McGregor last year purchased a house in nearby Castledillon for a fee believed to be around £2 million.

As well as his massive house in Ireland, McGregor also owns a villa in Marbella and a Las Vegas pad.

And since leaving, the house has been given a makeover and is now listed by French Estates for €1,050,000 (£946,500).

French Estates describe the listing as: "This magnificent end residence set on expansive private grounds within the 550 acre estate of the world renowned K Club in Straffan, Co. Kildare and one of Ireland’s most exclusive and desirable gated community developments.

";This reverse living end residence overlooks the undulating hills and the dramatic landscape of the Arnold Palmer designed, Smurfit Golf Course, No. 913, is exquisitely presented with 4 expansive en-suite double bedrooms on the ground floor.

"The beautifully designed first floor living space offers not only expansive and flowing, light filled accommodation but panoramic views of the Smurfit Golf Course with breath taking beauty and absolute tranquillity which pervade every inch of your surroundings."
