Jena Sims opens up on infamous kiss snub from Brooks Koepka and says she was starstruck when she met ‘GOAT’ Tiger Woods
JENA SIMS has explained her infamous kiss snub from boyfriend Brooks Koepka.
Walking onto the course at last year's PGA Championship, Sims appeared to lean in for a little smooch with her golf star beau.
But the 30-year-old appeared totally oblivious, walking with his game face on and leaving Sims to become something of an internet meme.
Clearly the snub worked, however, as Koepka went on to win the tournament, his fourth major championship.
And there were no hard feelings, as he and Sims eventually sealed the PGA Championship win with a kiss.
The couple were asked about the incident during an Instagram Q&A, during which Koepka shed some light on what really happened.
He said: "When you’re walking in, there’s a million different things going on, and we’d always gone a certain way.
"But there was a big group of people, the one way that we had usually gone, and decided we were going to go a little different route, just because of so many people blocking it.
“I kind of was going to grab Jena, and tell her to come this way, I didn’t realise - she thought we were going to separate, I thought we were going to walk in together.”
And Sims added: "We’re obviously past that now, but on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday of that tournament, we walked in and kissed at that exact spot.
"But then on Sunday, he ends up walking in with me, and we had a meal together, and then he kissed me before the round."

Sims, 31, also gained internet traction after being pictured in apparent awe in the vicinity of golf legend Tiger Woods.
The couple laughed off the images, with actress and model Sims saying: "If y’all were standing next to Tiger, would you not look at him the same way?"
And Koepka added, with tongue-in-cheek: "I’m not jealous."
The couple have been together for three-and-a-half years.
