Silva is the oldest fighter on the UFC roster and had been linked with a showdown against Conor McGregor.
But he has lost four out of his last five bouts going into his retirement match.
He suffered a leg injury before losing via TKO to Jared Cannonier in his last appearance at UFC 237.
The icon also brutally broke his leg against Chris Weidman in 2013.
